Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was who was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a banker in the past. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. Her father, an Argentinan of Scottish and English descent is also her mother. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English roots. She was the first born of a household with six kids. Four of them are siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family is initially from Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6 when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor-Joy explained that the move had been painful, and she refused to go back to school in English in the hope of return to Argentina. Her school had to change from Northlands and then Hill House. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's productions. When she was 16 she left school to pursue a profession as an actress full-time. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actor from a young age. Her dreams were realized when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
