Lucy Liu was born in the US. Liu is an American actress, a singer and voice actor. A beautiful, smart and skilled actor, she's an inspiration to Asian actors who want to become big names in Hollywood. An array of highly successful initial roles in a popular TV show resulted in her being popular for her role in the show on Ally McBeal, where she appeared as Ling Woo. She translated her newfound fame into roles on the big screen in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other movies. Following that, she gave an her best acting performance on Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese crime lord O Ren Ishii. She also played leading roles in box office failures like Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing the characters of animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell.
