SarahAahoo Jansouzshahi (10 January 1980), better known as Sarah Shahi, an American model and actress. She portrayed Carmen in the TV show The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw in the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). 2 She was an integral part of the show's main Det. Dani Reese is a character in Life[3] and Alias. The actress was also the main character in Reverie in the year 2018. She was a frequent character in City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[5[5]. She was also a part of seven episodes of The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic interest Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women in Texas. She was inspired to make the move to Hollywood and was offered roles in Alias as well as Dawson's Creek. In 2005, she played the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales as a supporting character on The L Word. She became a part of it during its second season. Shahi's two-year contract with the show was not renewed following the conclusion of the fourth season and her character was written off.
